Homecoming Ceremony

LORD our God, today we come before you with great joy.  You have shown great favor upon us and we thank you. We celebrate the return of our loved ones.

I pray that you strengthen and bless Our soldiers.

Father, I thank you for the return of the soldiers. I ask that relationships are strengthened, that the time spent away from families, friends, and co-workers would be forgotten from their minds. Your word says that you will restore the crops that are eaten by the locusts, and you will restore time for your people. I pray that the time they now spend together would be joyful and time of great celebration. I ask that a time of rest and renewal would encompass them…I pray Father that you build a hedge of protection around them.

I pray for all the soldiers on Fort Hood…that you would be with them and lift up their spirits. That you give them joy.

For you are the God of Peace, the great shepherd of the sheep. Amen

Rank Ceremony Prayer

LORD our God, today we come before you with great joy.  You have shown great favor upon us and we thank you.

We have gathered together today to recognize LT___________…to be promoted to the rank of CPT.  We remember that it is you, O God, that has brought each of us here today to share in this wonderful achievement.  I pray that You continue to give wisdom and discernment to Cpt Hall for all her duties.

I ask that you Direct her/him with Your grace and those she/he leads, will be encouraged and shown your favor though her/him.

I pray that you strengthen and bless Her leadership.

I pray for all the soldiers on Fort Hood…that you would be with them and lift up their spirits.
